A beautiful country house in Giove, Umbria, Italy with a private pool (10m x 5m). Scenic, tranquil and superb for relaxing. It is situated in a tranquil and rural location It is an ideal place for touring Umbria. Rome is only 45 minutes away by train.
The house sleeps 6 and is arranged on three levels. It is well equipped and furnished. It has one double and two twin bedrooms. The top twin bedroom has its own terrace with wonderful views. It also benefits from two additional terraces outside, one next to the house and one along side the pool. Both have the sun all day long. There is one large bathroom, with a bath and a shower.
Casa Bandita is one half of an original farmhouse. It is well situated, just on the outskirts of the small town of Giove, It offers some very good walks locally and there are bicycles at the house to use. It is 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk to Giove.
Giove offers good facilities including a Co-op, bank, chemist, 2 butchers, a couple of bars and one restaurant. Amelia is 15 minutes away by car and this offers a greater selection of shops and restaurants. The beautiful historic town of Amelia is well worth a visit.
Giove is easily arrived at by motorway. From the two nearest airports which are both in Rome: Fiumicino and Ciampino it takes about 1.1/4 hrs From Giove you can visit many places here are just a few:
- Rome
- Orvieto
- Assisi
- Spoleto
- Perugia
- Viterbo and Florence
- The waterfalls at Marmore, near Terni.
In addition there are many wonderful small hilltop towns that are abundant in this area.
