An attractive cottage on the outskirts of the small town of Penna In Teverina Umbria, set in the grounds of the main house. Close to the small medieval town of Penna-in-Teverina. Easily arrived at from either of the two Rome airports: Fiumicino and Ciampino.
A lovely detached cottage offering a perfect holiday setting. plus a small sofa bed. For children there are the rabbits, hens, geese, swings and a slide! The pool is a good size and has graduated steps the length of one side. The owner does reside on site in the main house.
The cottage has one double bedroom and a small sofa bed suitable for one adult or 2 small children. It has an open plan kitchen/diner/sitting area, and a bathroom. The cottage has a separate entrance and parking. A separate guest annex which has a double bed and bathroom may be also available. It is situated close to the pool and offers a very pleasant outdoor covered eating area and garden furniture around the pool.
It’s five minutes by car to the local town of Penna In Teverina. This offers a bakery, chemist, bank with cash point, a butchers’ and a grocers. The old small town of Penna is also worth a visit.
The property is well located for access to the motorway at Orte. Orte also has a main line train station. Trains from Orte to Rome take about 45 minutes. There are also the local towns of Giove, and Amelia offering greater choice of shops, restaurants and bars. It is excellent base to tour the many beautiful and interesting places in Umbria, such as Perugia, Spoleto, Assisi,Todi Orvieto to name but a few.
